Pettibone Pitches Complete Game

Kenneth Pettibone threw another complete game last night in the Potters’ win over the Yuba City Bears beating them 9-1. Pettibone allowed only one run on five hits, with three walks and striking out seven. He improves to 3-1 on the season with a 2.35 ERA.

Off the mound, the Potters’ offense had a total of nine runs on twelve hits. Joseph Torres went 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Zach Hoffman went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Zach Hall went 2-for-4 with two runs scored, Austen Swift went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and an RBI, Ambrose Romero went 1-for-1 with an RBI, and Will Law went 1-for-3 with an RBI.

In the Great West League, the Potters [25-13] stand in second place, two games back from the Medford Rogues. The Potters play the Bears again in the final game of this two-game series tonight at McBean Stadium at 7:05 p.m.
