Potters Shutout Fresno A's to Win 11th Straight

The Lincoln Potters had a dominant game not only on the mound, but also at the plate. Winning pitcher, Adan Perez, pitched 6 scoreless innings and had 7 strikeouts in the Potters 14-0 win over the Fresno A’s, making it their 11th straight win. Relievers Tyler Moore and Ken Blankenship continued the dominance on the mound in the last 3 innings of the game, allowing a combined 6 hits and struck out 5 to complete the shutout. 

 

Raising Cane’s player of the game, Cole Eaton, was 4-4 with 5 RBI including a bases clearing 3 RBI double in the 7th. He also had an RBI triple to left-center in the 6th inning. 

 

The Potters’ offensive night was also highlighted by back-to-back-to-back doubles in the 3rd by Hudson Brown, Sean White and Jake Tandy which scored the first 2 runs of the game. Cole Dillon also had a solo home run in the 5th and Hasani Johnson had 3 hits and an RBI. Six of the 12 hits tonight from the Potters were for extra bases.
