Jackson Halverson struck out six Novato Knicks en route to a 6-2 Lincoln Potters victory on Opening Night, a night that also featured manager Tyler Robertson’s first victory as the Potters’ new skipper.

Earning the win in this game would be starting pitcher Jackson Halverson, who tossed five innings of two-run baseball while racking up six strikeouts. The dominance continued as Micah Marquez would follow in relief, tossing four shutout frames of his own and earning the first save of the 2024 season for the Potters.

Leading the way at the plate would be Wyatt Bahlke, recording two of the Potters’ four hits throughout the night. Jake Tandy and Hudson Brown would also record hits of their own, and that would be all the Potters needed to plate six runs of offense.

The Potters will look to keep their foot on the gas in game two of this three-game series against the Novato Knicks, with the first pitch of Fireworks Night slated for 6:05pm.
