Lincoln, CA - The Lincoln Potters have released their Promotional Schedule for their 100th Anniversary Season in advance of Single-Game Tickets going on sale Monday, March 20 at 10:00am.
The Potters seventh season at Historic McBean Stadium will be their third as official members of the illustrious California Collegiate League and will feature 32 home games and 21 road contests. Lincoln will play a total of 35 league games against the Healdsburg Prune Packers, Walnut Creek Crawdads, Solano Mudcats, and Sonoma Stompers. The rest of the Potters schedule is filled with top-level non-league teams from across the West Coast. Highlighting the non-league home slate are games against the Alameda Merchants, Bay Area Admirals, Menlo Park Legends, Novato Knicks, Sacramento Yankees, and the West Coast Kings. Lincoln will also travel north up I-5 to take on the Medford Rogues for a 3-game series in July.
This season’s promotions are spotlighted by six spectacular Fireworks Nights on Saturday, May 27; Saturday, June 17; Saturday, July 1; Tuesday, July 4; Saturday, July 15; and Friday, July 28.
There will be five premium Giveaway Nights that include: Rally Towels on Opening Night Friday, May 26 (courtesy of Fiddyment Farms); Fanny Packs for 90's Night on Friday, June 2 (courtesy of DR Horton); Straw Beach Hats for Aloha Night on Friday, June 23 (courtesy of Marques General Engineering); Can Koozies on Thursday, June 22 (courtesy of Placer County Association of Realtors); Cool Towels on Saturday, July 1 (courtesy of Astro Air Design); and McBean Stadium Replicas for Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday, July 30 (Courtesy of Cornerstone Insurance).
Additionally, Orange Fridays presented by Designated Hitter will be back with special giveaways for our Stadium Reserved seats on June 9, June 16, June 30, and July 21.
The Potters will also have seven theme nights with special character appearances including: Strikeout Cancer Night on Saturday, May 27; Zebra Night on Thursday, June 1; 90’s Night on Friday, June 2; Hispanic Heritage Night (Themed Jersey) on Saturday, June 3; Country Night on Friday, June 9; Disney Night presented by Placer Title on Saturday, June 17; Aloha Night on Friday, June 23; Piper’s Birthday and Mascot Night presented by Astro Air Design on Friday,June 24; Stars and Stripes Night on Saturday, July 1; Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4; Superhero Night on Saturday, July 15; Harry Potter Night on Friday, July 21; Rhino Night on Wednesday, July 26; and Star Wars Night (Themed Jersey) on Friday, July 28.
The FREE Fan Fest presented by Rockstar Music Academy is back on Thursday, May 25. The Potters will play a three-inning intrasquad scrimmage followed by a meet-and-greet on the field where the players will be available for photos and autographs. Stick around following the meet-and-greet for live music and even more fun!
Opening Night presented by Gladding, McBean on Friday, May 26 will commence the Potters’ seventh season as they take on the Novato Knicks. The Potters will square off against the Sonoma Stompers on Wednesday, June 7 for the California Collegiate League Home Opener.
The 2023 Potters season will feature six recurring promotions- Loomis Basin 2-for-1 Tuesdays with 2-for-1 12-ounce beers, soda, and water, Wine Wednesdays with $3 Sangrias, Thirsty Thursdays with $3 12-ounce beers, soda, and water, Dueling Dogs Cider Saturdays with $5 12-ounce Ciders, and Military Sundays where current and former Military members and their families receive free General Admission.
Last but not least, there will be two Ladies Nights on Wednesday, June 7 and Wednesday, July 19. Ladies 21 and over will receive free General Admission.
On top of the baseball promotions, the Potters will be hosting another stand-alone Movie Night on Friday, July 14 (Angels in the Outfield) as well as an exciting non-baseball event on Saturday, July 22 that will be announced at a later date.
The Potters will battle all season for a chance to host a home playoff game August 1-3. The West Coast World Series presented by Placer Valley Tourism will once again be held at Historic McBean Stadium from August 8-11 with 8 premier teams from all over the Western United States coming for a clash on the turf.
