Potters Win Third Straight Against Better Baseball

The Potters opened the weekend with a win against Better Baseball. The Potters got it started with a 7-run first inning, with RBI hits from Ethan Mann, Jack Haley, and Eddie Park. The Potters would single runs in the 3rd and 4th innings. They added 3 runs in the 5th inning off Better Baseball errors to make it a 10-1 game. After Better Baseball scored a run in the 7th inning, the Potters followed with 4 runs of their own with a Jack Haley double, Isiah Garcia single, and another Ethan Mann’s hit. They would win the game by a final score of 16-2. Ian Miller took the win for Lincoln. The Potters advance to 13-4 and have won every game against Better Baseball.

The Potters third baseman was fueling the Potters offense all night long but it was the Potters pitching staff that controlled the game. Potters pitching gave up 3 hits all night and kept Better Baseball off balance all night. They combined to strike out 14 hitters and only walk 5. Gabe Emitts and Ian Miller combined for 9 strikeouts in their collective 5 innings of work. Even regular 3rd baseman, Trey Furrey struck out 2 hitters in his one inning of work. The Potter offense still racked up plenty of hits as Ethan Mann led the way with 4 hits on the night.Jack Haley and Daniel Susac also picked up with 3 hits on the night as well. Susac has reached base in 8 straight appearances over his last 2 games. Potters offense reached base 30 times in the game.
