Potters Dethrone the Kings

A run here and a run there helped propel Lincoln Potters to a big win over West Coast Kings on Tuesday, 7-1

 

Lincoln Potters opened up scoring in the first inning.  Daniel Susac hit a solo homer.

 

Kings scored their lone run of the day in the bottom of the third inning on a double off the right field wall.

 

In the fourth Nathan Martorella hit a solo homer over the right field wall to put the Potters up 2-1.

 

Marlin Brucato started the game for Lincoln Potters. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out two.

 

Nate Kujawski got the win for Lincoln Potters. He allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one.  A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Jack Horn, Ian Miller, Tanner Kane, and Collin Carriger all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

 

Lincoln Potters racked up ten hits.  Susac, Michael Shoenberger, Charles Middleton, and Martorella all managed two hits for the Potters.
