Potters Bats Light up the Sky

The Potters take the one and only game against the Sierra Nevada Wolves, Thursday night for a 4th of July game! Along with the 9-4 win, the Potters also had their first scoreless 1st inning in a while! The Potters managed to snag 15 hits on the night leading them to a 9-4 victory over the Wolves, leading to the first win streak since the beginning of the season! Four of those hits coming from the bat of Lorenzo Debrecht (4-for-4, 4 hits). Debrecht went a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in the special edition 4th of July pinstripe jerseys! Another hot-bat at the plate was Under Armor All-American Daniel Susac (2-for-4, 1 HR, 4 RBI) with four RBI’s on the night, including one 3-run ding piece into the right field net! Although the Potters had 15 hits, the Wolves managed to scratch across 13 hits of their own! Michael Potter receives the win with his 3.0 innings of work. Potter struck out one Sierra batter and did not give up one run. Eli Garcia and Tyler Gums, two Potter legends each made their 2019 summer debut with one inning a piece. The loss went to Garrett Mos with 2.2 innings of work giving up four earned runs on four hits. Along with the 4th of July fireworks, Coach Kody Keroher lit up the crowd with his singing abilities! The Potters head to Healdsburg for a 3-game series with the Prune Packers. First pitch of game one is set for 6:00 pm, tomorrow July 5th. The second place Potters look to keep their streak going, and jump ahead of the first place Prune Packers!
