Potters Lose Last Game of Pool Play Potters Loss The Lincoln Potters took a big loss to close out the last game of pool play in the West Coast World Series losing 10-0 to the Peloteros. The loss makes the Potters the 3 seed heading into bracket play tomorrow, Monday August 5th.
The Peloteros pitching staff of David Wiser, Eric Erdmann and Jaylan Pattersson threw 5 innings tonight, only giving up one hit. That solo hit for the Potters was a line drive to left field from Anson Aroz in the 4th inning.
Andrew Balentine, Micah Marquez, Jason Riviello, Jake Morell, Xavier Maldonado, and Liam Golden all took the mound for the Potters. They gave up 6 hits in their combined 4.2 innings before the mercy rule took effect.
The Potters kick off bracket play tomorrow morning at 8:30am when they take on the ShowCali Astros, the 6 seed. If they win that game they play the AE Express at 3:30pm. Potters Up! |
