Potters Win Series But Lose Series Finale Against Heat

The Potters had 11 hits on the night but were only able to score five runs unlike the Chico Heat who had 10 runs on 10 hits to take the win in the final game of the series.

Hector Sepulveda got his first start, and first loss, of the season making his record 2-1. He pitched 3.1 innings allowing six hits, eight runs and walking four.

Joseph Torres went 2-for-3 with two hits, an RBI and a walk, Will Law went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI, Gilbert Sauceda went 3-for-4 with two runs, Isaiah Garcia went 1-for-3 with a run, Derek Molina went 2-for-4 with an RBI, Zach Hall went 1-for-4 with an RBI and Austen Swift got an RBI.

The Lincoln Potters remain in first place in the Great West League with their record of 7-2. They return back to action on Friday, June 9 at McBean Stadium to take on a three game series against the Medford Rogues. First pitch is scheduled for 7:35 p.m. Gates open an hour before the start of the game.
