It's time for another Beach Hut Deli Player Signing Announcement!
We are EXCITED to welcome Texas Tech first baseman Jose Gonzalez and future San Jose State indielder Lane Field to the Potters family!
Jose Gonzalez - INF
Gonzalez is currently redshirting as a freshman for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The Spring, TX native is the nephew of former Major League standout Juan Gonzalez. Gonzalez rated the number one first baseman in Texas in 2018 by Perfect Game and eigth nationally at the position. The power-hitting lefty was named a Pre-Season All-American as a senior at Klein High School.
Lane Field - INF
Field is currently a sophomore at American River College and is committed to play for the San Jose State Spartans next year. He is currently hitting .293 with a homer, six doubles, and 10 RBI for the Beavers.
