Meet Our Coaching Staff
Eli Garcia
— Field Manager
Elijah Garcia played collegiately at both Sierra College and California State University, Northridge after a successful playing career that also included time with the Lincoln Potters from 2017-2021. Following his playing career, Garcia transitioned into coaching and has quickly established himself as one of the rising young coaches in the area. He currently serves as the manager of the Lincoln Potters while also coaching at Roseville High School. Garcia brings a player-first mentality, strong baseball knowledge, and deep ties to Northern California baseball to both programs as he continues helping develop the next generation of players.
Nate Kujawski
— Assistant Coach
Back for his second season as pitching coach with the Lincoln Potters, Kujawski brings valuable collegiate coaching and playing experience to the staff.
Kujawski served as the pitching coach for the Division I baseball program St. Bonaventure University in 2025, where he coached pitcher Michael Salina who was selected in the fourth round of the 2025 MLB Draft.
As a player at the University of Evansville, Kujawski was a relief pitcher, making 11 appearances during his time with the Missouri Valley Conference program. Prior to arriving in Evansville, Nate pitched for Sierra Community College, and Chandler Gilbert Community College at the junior college level. His collegiate playing career was highlighted by a CCCAA Regional appearance and MVC championship appearance. Following his college career, Kujawski had a brief stint in independent professional baseball appearing in seven games as a pro. Nate is a native of Denver, CO.
Alex Baeza
— Assistant Coach
Former Division 1 standout and professional baseball player with a decorated collegiate career across the Big West and PAC-12 Conferences. A four-time All-Big West Conference selection at the University of Hawai’i, he established himself as one of the premier hitters and defenders in the conference before finishing his career at the University of Utah as a graduate transfer.
In his final season at Utah, he lead the team in doubles, RBIs, and walks while earning First Team All-Pac 12 honors. He also captured the prestigious ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove Award at first base, recognizing him as the top defensive first baseman in the country.
Following his collegiate career, he went on to play three seasons in professional baseball. He brings experience, leadership, and passion for player development to the summer collegiate level helping athletes grow both on and off the field.
Hank LoForte
— Assistant Coach, Recruiting Coordinator

Went to Franklin High School, 2015 Grad

Emma Hubbell
— Athletic Trainer Coordinator
Emma Hubbell has been with the Potters since 2018. She attended received her A.S. in Athletic Training from Ohlone College in 2016 and her B.S. in Atheltic Training from CSU Sacramento in 2017. She also received her Certification in Massage Therapy in 2019 from the National Holistic Institute. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer as of 2018 with other certifications in: Corrective Exercise, Fitness Nutrition, Performance Enhancement, and Basic Life Support. Hubbell is a member of the California, Far West, and National Athletic Trainer’s Associations. She continually comes back each summer to #PotterUp and knows Lincoln is her home for the summer. She currently works at Rhodes College as an Assitant Athletic Trainer. Hubbell currently resides in Memphis, TN with her husband, Tyler and kitty, Nala.
Kody Keroher
— Director of Player Development
Keroher was the Potters’ Pitching Coach from 2018 to 2019 and helped the staff dominate on the mound. He played at and graduated from the University of Nevada Reno after a two-year stint at Solano Community College. In 2004, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 46th Round of the Major League Baseball Draft. After his playing career, Keroher worked as the Pitching Coach for Solano from 2008 to 2012 where he led the Falcons to five league championships and two Super Regional appearances. He is formerly the Director of Operations and Facilities at Sacramento State University and he and his family reside in Rocklin, CA.
