The bullpen of the Potters went the next 5 innings starting with Tyler Cochran who got the win for the Potters. Cochran went an inning and didn't allow a run. Then Grant St. Martin came into the game and allowed a homerun to Cole Lemmel but struck out 2 Heat hitters in 2 innings of work. Josh Ludeman closed the game out and earned the save for the Potters as he went 2 innings allowing 2 hits, 1 run, and struck out 3 batters. Stevens said "We needed to keep them down as long as we could so I went to the best guys I had available and they delivered tonight." The Potters improve to 13-6 while the Heat fall to 14-4. 

The Potters offense scored 5 runs in the first inning thanks to a grand slam by Zach Patterson. The Potters have had 5 different players hit grand slams this year. The Potters also got 3 runs in the 5th inning thanks to a Johnny Pacheco single and a Tyler Detloff two RBI single. When asked after the game about how the Potters have had new players make instant impact on the games when they arrive, Ryan Stevens said "It makes easy on us, they come in ready to go and have an impact right away. The guys who have been here make it easy for the guys who are just getting here because everyone supports one another in that clubhouse, everyone has each other's backs. Makes the transition smoother and the play a lot better. It's a great thing to be apart of"

Tyler Detloff continues to swing a hot bat as he has 2 hits in every game he's played in so far this season. He has also racked up an incredible 10 RBI already this season. Larry Fonseca also continues to produce going 2-4 with a run scored. Jon Mook went 2-2 and reached base in every plate appearance he had.
