POTTERS ADD PAIR OF RISING WARRIORS

Today's Select Tax & Bookkeeping Player Signing Announcement inlcudes two sluggers from William Jessup University.

The Potters are pumped to welcome back utility infielder Will Law and are excited to see outfielder Joe Starick in orange and navy this summer!

Will Law - INF
Will is currently a junior at William Jessup University just up I65 in Rocklin, CA and is originally from La Jolla, CA. The power-hitting lefty is entering his third-straight season in the Great West League after playing for the Lodi Crushers in 2016 and the Potters last season. In 2017, Law put together one of the best seasons at the plate in GWL history after finishing first in the league in doubles (18), second in walks (51), third in home runs (7), RBI (54), and slugging percentage (.564), fourth in on-base percentage (.468), and ninth in average (.335). He is currently hitting .333 with five home runs and 15 RBI for the Warriors.

Joe Starick - OF
Joe is also a junior at William Jessup after transfering in from Napa Valley CC and is originally from Lafayette, CA. The imposing left-hander was named to the All Nor-Cal Team by the CCCBCA after an impressive sophomore campaign in which he hit .392 with five home runs and 38 RBI. He finished first in the Bay Valley Conference in hits, doubles, RBI, total bases, average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, and OPS. Starick is currently hitting .568 with one home run and 11 RBI for the Warriors.
