Potters Tie Series With Rogues

Cody Lindsey got his first start on the mound for the Potters and it came in winning fashion with the Potters beating the Rogues 3-1 in the final game of the four-game series.

 

Lindsey pitched five innings allowing only two hits, no runs, walking two and striking out four. Adrian Rodriguez got the save pitching four innings while allowing only one run on four hits and striking out two.

 

Zach Hoffman went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored, Will Law went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored and Jake Boyd got the other RBI of the night.

 

The Potters go on the road to Marysville tomorrow night and Tuesday night for games one and two of the series before returning home to McBean Stadium on Wednesday for game three, the last regular season home game. The Potters are 34-20 on the season and sit in second place in the Great West League, four games behind Medford and one game ahead of Chico.
