Hoffman got the win last night pitching two innings while allowing two unearned runs, walking two and striking out three.

Also noticeable on the Potters’ offense was Mason Allen who went 1-for-2 with a home run to get two RBIs on the night. Law went 1-for-4 with five RBIs thanks to his grand slam in the bottom of the second inning. Also contributing to the Potters' 12 RBIs on the night was Jake Boyd, Gilbert Sauceda and Braden De Benedictis who all went 1-for-4.

The Potters won the series against the Chico Heat winning three of the four games. The Potters move onto the Yuba City Bears with the first game of the series tonight at Colusa Casino Stadium. The Potters return to McBean Stadium tomorrow, July 3rd, for game two.

The Potters still sit in second place in the Great West League, 3.5 games back from Medford but now 2.5 games ahead of Chico who's in third place. The Potters are 18-11 on the season.
