2019 Player Signing Announcements
It's that time of year again, Fans! We will be doing a series of Player Signing Announcements over the next month presented by our great partners at Beach Hut Deli!
To kick the announcements off, the Potters are EXCITED to welcome back Sierra College Baseball infielder Matt Lopez and Ohlone College BaseballUtility Player Zach Patterson!
Matt Lopez - INF
Lopez is currently a sophomore at Sierra College. The Grass Valley, CA native is currently hitting .304 with two home runs, 14 RBI, and 10 runs early in the 2019 season for the Wolverines. Lopez provided an offensive spark for the Potters late last season after tallying a .276 average with three homers and 12 RBI in limited action. The corner infielder will play both first and third for Lincoln this summer.
Zach Patterson - INF
Patterson is currently a freshman at Ohlone College after redshirting and transferring from the University of Utah. In nine games so far this season for the Renegades, he is batting .316 with two home runs and eight RBI. The right-handed slugger was named a 2018 GWL All-Star last summer for the Potters and will look to carry over his success to the CCL.
