Lightning or Fireworks? Potters Win!

The Potters won on Saturday night 3-1 in a weather shortened seven innings. Lighting and rain came into the forecast which helped lead the Potters to another victory over the Sierra Wolves. Cade Farr stepped up on the hill for Lincoln making his Potters debut allowing only one run on two hits in 4.0 innings of work. The Texas Tech pitcher struck out five batters and allowed only two hits. Marcus Buford of Sierra hit a solo home run in the top of the third inning leading to the Wolves only run of the game. Radd Thomas received his first win of the season, with two innings of work, not allowing a hit with two strikeouts. Matt Lopez and Lane Field each go 2-for-3 on the night leading your Potters to the victory. Field tacks on an RBI and Lopez scored a run. The Potters are back in action tomorrow night vs the Sonoma County Rebels! First pitch is set at 6:05 pm right here at McBean Stadium!
